In a tense, exciting quarterfinal match of the Section One Volleyball Tournament, the Nanuet Golden Knights defeated Pearl River 3-2: 25-14, 14-25, 25-10, 15-25, 25-19. The Knights were led Sam Namit who had 11kills and 9 digs, Gabby Faulcon who had 13 kills and 26 digs, Kendra Faulcon who had 6 aces and 21 digs, and Rachel Chan who had 33 assists and 16 digs.

Nanuet continues their quest for the sectional title at Ardsley on Friday, November 1.
